Sunday Simplicity
Affirmations for inner calm
After a week ( month? year?) of overthinking, over researching and a general mild buzz of anxiety, I know it’s time for simplicity.
If you’re like me, let’s make the shift. Now. Shift to an ease and uncomplicated mind. A shift to more BEING in the moment, less jumping into the future in our heads. Yes, this is something I need to remind myself of often. And what better day than a Sunday morning, coffee in bed, cats by my side and a window view of the bird feeder.
The neighborhood is quiet. The sun today is hidden. A gentle breeze stirs the bushes outside. My house is peaceful.
So I’ll read, and say, some affirmations and then move on with my Sunday ,in a slow, simple , savoring way.
In a relaxed, easeful manner.
In a calm, content way.

Today I’ll be calm
I feel calm
I am at ease
I don’t need to worry
I count my blessings
I will breathe deep
I am feeling a calm energy
I am surrounded by peaceful energy
I am light and free
I am unrushed
I don’t worry
I let it go
I feel safe
I don’t need to analyze or overthink
I can do things I love, slowly and with a joyful heart
I am at ease
I breathe in calm and love
I breathe out stress and uncertainty
I am here-right now
